We all love a good festival… until we don’t. To make sure everyone has fun, we have put together the do’s and dont’s of the 2019 Bendigo Craft Beer and Cider Festival.
You can…
Reserve a private umbrella. Guarantee your spot on the lawn by reserving a private umbrella with six chairs – ready for you on arrival. You can reserve one here
Cash in any left over festival currency. If you find yourself with festival currency leftover (unlikely with over 100+ beers and ciders to sample), you can cash in by following the instructions on our website here.
Get public transport to the event. Trains run to Bendigo almost every hour from Southern Cross station. From there, local buses run from the Bendigo Railway Station into the CBD frequently. However if you chose to drive, there is free parking available at the Tom Flood Sports Centre (winning!).
Bring your own picnic rug. We love a good picnic rug at Bendigo Craft Beer and Cider Festival, especially the kind that can fit all your friends on the rug at the one time.
Pass out. Not from the consumption of too much alcohol though. We’re talking about pass out stamps that allow you to come and go from the festival.
Bring the kids. We will have children’s activities and entertainment on the day. Children 12 and under are free, 13 to 17 year olds are $18.40.
Tell your mate that they’re missing out if they don’t come. Seriously, they are.

You cannot…
Bring your own food in. We have a vast range of Food Trucks at the event including Yum Az, East Side Smokers, Slinky Spudz and Seafood, The French Connection Creperie, Flame Tree Woodfired Pizza and Julies Gourmet Kitchen.
Bring your own chair. Unfortunately, due to occupational health and safety, we cannot permit chairs onto the grounds. We know it’s a total bummer (pun intended).
Pay for anything using cash. For a better festival experience, we have a cashless wristband system at the festival to ensure speed of service, increased security and ease of transactions. You can find out more here.
Bring your pet. We love Rockys, Maxs and Miley’s as much as the next person but they are considered an occupational health and safety risk and cannot permit them into the venue. Especially with the little ones running around!
Leave the kids to fend for themselves. Anyone attending the festival under the age of 18 must be must be accompanied by an adult at all times, as this is a fully licensed event.
Go home because you lost the Escape Room competition. This year we have Breakout Bendigo bringing their Seven Seas escape room to the festival. We will be offering a slab of beer to the team with the fastest escape time… bring it on!
Prohibited Items include, but are not limited to:

Outside Alcohol
